Kisses Delavin may not have won the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 crown, but she's determined to continue her journey no matter what.

Speaking with the morning entertainment show Unang Hirit, the 22-year-old shared that she will let herself "be surprised" by what her pageant journey has in store.

"Ako po, I'm very sure that this is my big dream, so I will continue on this path," Kisses said. "That is for sure."

The Masbate representative landed in the Top 10 spot of the competition, before being cut during the Top 5 announcement. She nabbed the special awards for Most Photogenic, Miss Philippines Lazada, and Miss Rfox Philippines for garnering the highest number of online votes on the MUPH app.

In the same interview, Kisses also shared that she's still willing to learn more about pageantry following positive comments from past queens Pia Wurtzbach, Rabiya Mateo, and MJ Lastimosa.

"I'm very grateful kasi syempre marami pong support sakin, pero also at the same time I keep in mind yung lahat ng pwede ko pang points for improvement kasi this is really my big dream: The Miss Universe crown."

"I think I'm in a good direction, so kekeep ko yung positive comments and also the points for improvement so when I do represent the country, all aspects perfect na."

Kisses was lauded by the queens on social media, with the Miss Universe 2015 praising her styling at the time.

Kisses has been a pageant queen since her high school days, bagging the 2013 Miss Teen Masbate when she was 14-years-old. Three years later, she was crowned the 2016 Miss Masbate and Miss Kaogma in Camarines Sur.
