Tomorrow X Together (TXT), also known as K-pop’s “4th Generation IT Boys” among fans, is known for producing songs with hopeful messages. The boy group’s recent title track LO$ER=LOVER is an example, since it empowers fans to defy social norms.

LO$ER=LOVER is the title track of TXT’s first repackaged album The Chaos Chapter: FIGHT OR ESCAPE which talks about the pressures of fitting in a judgmental society.

Among TXT, the members revealed that they’re all involved when it comes to producing their signature sound and writing empowering lyrics.

“We all like to write lyrics and take part in creating music, so we try to cooperate together whenever we can,” TXT’s Yeonjun said in an exclusive media interview for the #SmartTXT campaign.

“Because I am interested in writing lyrics, I try to participate as much as I can,” TXT’s Soobin added.

TXT’s Beomgyu, who enjoys listening to music, said he also loves to compose melodies and write lyrics. “We would like to create music that can cheer up and support all MOA (TXT’s fanbase).”

Meanwhile, TXT’s Taehyun admitted that he “likes toplining the best.” Toplining is where an artist provides a melody or lyrics over a pre-made beat or instrumental track.

But ultimately, the boy group aims to produce music that consoles and supports their fans, especially in tough times.

“You will never fail if you keep trying to achieve your dream. We will continue to produce music that can cheer you up in the future,” TXT’s Huening Kai added.

The boy group is currently the brand ambassadors of Smart’s “Build Your Own Giga campaign,” which allows subscribers to craft their own Giga promos based on their own lifestyle.

TXT is a five-member group under HYBE Labels (formerly Big Hit Entertainment). The boy group is composed of five members, namely, Soobin, Yeonjun, Taehyun, Beomgyu, and Huening Kai.

Compared to other K-pop groups, TXT doesn’t have any fixed positions since it changes in every comeback.
