The first teaser trailer for James Gunn's Superman has been released.

Warner Bros. Philippines dropped the official teaser trailer for Superman late Thursday, Dec. 19, sharing a glimpse of the main character's heroic acts. It also gave a first look at David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane.

The clip starts with an injured Superman bleeding and struggling to move in the cold. It later showed some shots of Kent as a Daily Planet reporter and then as a lover of Lane, with whom he's seen sharing a kiss in the latter part of the teaser.

Aside from Corenswet and Brosnahan, the cast also includes Nicholas Hoult, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell.

Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, Superman is set to hit theaters and IMAX nationwide on July 9, 2025.
