Weekend Watchlist: ‘Knives Out,’ ‘Love is Colorblind,’ and more

Knives Out, a 2019 murder mystery film that features an all star cast including Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Jamie Lee Curtis, Don Johnson, Christopher Plummer and more, is set to debut on Netflix. The stylish whodunit follows a master detective investigating the death of the patriarch of a wealthy, dysfunctional family. 

Fans of local showbiz will be happy to see another Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano title on Netflix as well. Love Is Color Blind was released on Tuesday, March 1 on the platform. Originally released in December via KTX.ph, the film follows the story of the headstrong Cara (Mariano), who makes it her mission to help her best friend Ino (Pangilinan) regain his happiness, after an accident impaired his vision.

Acclaimed director Edgar Wright’s psychological thriller Last Night In Soho starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Thomasin McKenzie also premieres on Upstream starting March 3.
