Cyberpunk 2077 is arguably one of the most hyped video games this year and fans have been patiently waiting for its release, especially since Hollywood A-list actor Keanu Reeves revealed that he will be voicing Johnny Silverhand, one of the main characters of the game.

Less than three weeks before the game’s official release, game developer CD Projekt has decided to give fans a treat by released a ten-minute long gameplay footage, featuring the distinct look and feel of the dystopian-looking Night City, an open world with six distinct regions that serves as central backdrop of the story.

The preview starts with a quest line called ‘Automatic Love’ where your character, V,  is attempting to hunt down a missing person by any means necessary. The gameplay video will be switching between Xbox One X and Xbox Series X, and you can check in the upper left corner to see which one you are looking at.

CD Projekt RED describes the game as:

In 2077, America is in pieces. Megacorps control life in all its aspects from the top floors of their sky-high fortresses. Down below, drug-pushing gangs, dirty-tech hustlers and slingers of illicit braindances run the streets. The world in between is wherre decadence, sex and pop culture mix with violent crime, extreme poverty and the unattainable promise of the American Dream. In a world where you have no future, what matters is that you control who you are.

To survive and protect your independence, you modify your body with advanced cyberware and take jobs others would never dare. You choose to live free, bound by no systems or controls — the only rules you obey are your own. Because you’re a Cyberpunk. In Cyberpunk 2077 you play as V, a hired gun on the rise and you just got your first serious contract. In a world of cyber enhanced street warriors, tech-savvy net runners and corporate lifehackers.

Cyberpunk 2077 arrives on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S starting Dec. 10, 2020.
