After early leaks online, Sony has officially confirmed the free games up for grabs in its diverse PlayStation Plus October 2021 lineup.
Next month, PS Plus subscribers can choose their champion and battle it out in otherwordly realms, enjoy a relaxing day on the greens with some virtual golf, or test their mettle at the war-torn frontlines with WWII-era weaponry.
One-on-one fighting game Mortal Kombat X, golf simulator PGA Tour 2K21 and PS5 multiplayer shooter Hell Let Loose join the PlayStation Plus lineup starting Tuesday, October 5. The three games will be available until Monday, November 1.

Mortal Kombat X (PS4)
Netherrealm Studios’ bone-crunching beat ‘em up fuses cinematic presentation with an all-new gameplay experience. For the first time in the series’ history, every character in its robust roster has a selection of different fighting styles to choose from, offering an expanded range of strategies to take into battle.
Originally released in 2015, Mortal Kombat X takes place 25 years after the events of its predecessor. The game's story mode features children of several of the main characters from the franchise, such as Cassie Cage, the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade; Takeda, son of Kenshi; and Jacqui Briggs, daughter of Jax.
PGA Tour 2K21 (PS4)
Prove you’ve got what it takes to become FedExCup Champion with golf sim PGA Tour 2K21. The sports video game is a continuation of The Golf Club franchise integrated with 2K Sports and the second game in the franchise to include a PGA Tour license.
Players can take on PGA Tour Pros across stunning, real-life courses to earn rewards and gear, and play against friends or the world’s best players in local and online matches.

Hell Let Loose (PS5)
Hell Let Loose is a hardcore World War Two first person shooter with epic battles of 100 players with infantry, tanks, artillery, a dynamically shifting front line and a unique resource based RTS-inspired meta-game.
This WWII-inspired multiplayer title splices epic 100-player battles with a unique resource-based RTS-inspired meta-game, where Commanders direct the flow of battle and coordinate powerful in-game abilities that influence the team’s march to victory.
Team up and tackle enemy combatants online in 50v50 skirmishes, choose one of 14 playable roles within infantry, recon, and armour unit types, each equipped with authentic weapons, vehicles, and equipment.
Gamers still have until Monday, October 4 to add September's game lineup, namely Predator: Hunting Grounds, Overcooked: All You Can Eat!, and Hitman 2 to their game library.
